Jim Reed is ACES’s VP of Business Development and Chairman of the Advisory Council. Jim is known as a problem solver; he serves ACES members by finding solutions for their challenges in a multitude of areas. He has had extensive experience leading large and successful organizations within corporate truck services management and operations over a 40-plus-year career. Jim began his career as a Fuel / Shop Manager in 1981 and advanced his career with the same company to Lead Shop Specialist, Director of Shop Recruiting, VP of Truck Service Marketing and VP of Truck Services New Business.
Jim definitely has a unique combination of technical expertise and leadership skills that benefit our members every day!
Jim has launched several programs with the team at ACES including Recruitment Solutions, ACES Consulting Services monthly ACES Insider newsletter and monthly webinars for the members. He is instrumental in developing and continually evolving Vendor Programs that provide tremendous value and benefit to ACES members. He ensures ACES is known and represented in the service trades by participating in industry organizations, attending conferences, and constantly working to develop helpful relationships. His focus is to solve your problems and bring great programs to ACES members.

Jim calls Wadsworth, Ohio, home. He is married with two grown sons and two labrador retrievers and his hobby, which he is happy to discuss any time, is vintage motorcycles.
